The John Boos Blended Walnut Kitchen Counter Top is both attractive and functional, providing a tough duty cutting surface wherever it is needed. Crafted from top-grade American Black walnut that was sustainably harvested, each counter top is finished with a food-safe penetrating oil that is the same factory finish used on John Boos' world-famous cutting boards and butcher blocks.

The oil finish is absorbed into the wood fibers, enhancing water resistance and facilitating easy spill clean-up. John Boos recommends periodically oiling the countertop to preserve its beauty and durability. (John Boos Mystery Oil is sold separately on Amazon.)

Constructed with full-length exterior rails and random finger-jointed interior rails, these countertops must be stabilized with support during installation, ensuring an overhang of at least 8 inches in width and 12 inches in length.

These beautifully blended walnut countertops are made in the USA by skilled craftspeople. Designed to enhance and complement any style of kitchen design and decor, they are highly functional and easy-care alternatives to granite or stone counters, suitable for food preparation and cutting.

Varnique (sealed/finished) versions of this countertop are available and sold separately. It is important to note that these items were intentionally built with sustainability in mind, utilizing all parts of the wood. As a result, the reverse side (the side that will be installed facing downwards) may sometimes include slight irregularities, such as a small nick, but these do not indicate a defect and will not impact the function or use of the top.
